Rigorous, detailed, and bold, Matthew is a principal and co-founder of Local Practice and is focused on regenerating the built environment within the Salish Sea watershed. A skilled facilitator, Matthew is a Registered Architect and teaches regenerative sustainability at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and the University of British Columbia. He has significant knowledge of net zero building practices and a passion for architectural beauty. Matthew’s practice focuses on public projects that are technically complex, fundamentally connected to their sites, and deeply transformational.
